I'm in a Pretty Cool Docu Style Interview!
Over halfway funded, and only one more week to go! Then back to "normal".
We’re still alive! I swear!
Kickstarters are hard, yo. We’re in the final week now, with about 46% still to raise, though that can be normal for any campaign, let alone a first. The final two days are often bigger than the first two days, where we raised 33%, so we just might make it.
And if not? We will try, try again.
There’s no stopping us, folks. We’re just going to learn and get better.
I’m kind of excited to get back to “normal”, though. Where we can post about wine and comics and I can spend less time running around being on other people’s shows and trying to hack social media to get eyeballs on our campaign.
I have a pretty massive post about Orange Wine I can’t wait to write, and another about my Top 5 Graphic Novels of All Time. Soon!
But Hey, Look! I’m On Someone Else’s Show! A Docu-Style Interview!
Josiah Golojuh had me wake up early, like I had a goddamn day job, and trek an hour from home to do an 11am in-person interview for his JOSIAH IS WRITE channel, which we then recorded in his garage / studio. I mean, it’s a pretty sick garage / studio. LOOK AT IT:
Josiah’s editing is second-to-none, and this 30 minute docu-style interview makes me look like a total BOSS, even though it was morning and I’d just driven an hour and I was struggling to use, you know, WORDS to say stuff. But this makes me sound like a slick politician.
If you watch nothing else about me and my obsession with Armageddonquest, watch this:
KICKIN’ IT WITH KPOP!
I also had the chance to appear on KICKIN’ IT WITH KPOP, where Katie “Kpop_Junki” grilled me about Armageddonquest, hot dog wine pairings, my Top 5 Comics of all Time (if you want a preview of that list, it’s somewhere in this 3-hour epic chat!)
Oh, yeah, and we’re still doing our own Wine and Comics show, too ;P
You can find recordings of all the latest below. Jay Rosario bring us his extensive super-hero universe that he’s been crafting since 2008 (!!), then screenwriter Rylend Grant (State of Consciousness) with his crime dramedy THE PEACEKEEPERS, then more screenwriters as Erin Foley-Chan (Ellie & The Wave, The Great Fantasy Debate) and Daniel Powell (Inside Amy Schumer, That Damn Michael Che) talk their cyberpunk epic NEUROCRON.
Next one will be Monday 2/12 with the return of Oneshi Press and their new dog-themed comic, THE PACK!
