An Introduction: What this substack is planned to be.

Hello, hello! This is “Wine and Comics”, a substack that is meant to “pair” (hardy har) with our Wine and Comics Pairing Show (WaCPS) channel/podcast.

This is - for the time being and for the foreseeable future - a completely free newsletter. We’re doing it because we want everyone to love comics and wine as much as we do!

What can you expect to see in this newsletter?

• Updates on new episodes.

• Behind-the-scenes content.

• Bonus videos.

• Articles that deep dive into the comics and wines featured on the show as well as the principles that our pairings are based on. Believe it or not, there’s a whole system/philosophy behind this whack-tastic idea!

• Updates on WaCPS crowdfunding campaigns, the first of which will be launching in early 2023! So soon!

• Spotlights on comics we’re excited about and wines that we’re drinking, even if they aren’t (yet) featured in an episode. In fact, especially if they aren’t, because we’ll want to give ‘em a shout-out somehow!

I’m sure the above list will evolve as we go, but this is the plan to get us started. We hope you stick around, subscribe, and, if nothing else, enjoy the content!
